Biography
Splashgirl is three good friends, the three creative, young norwegian musicians Andreas Stensland Løwe (piano/lofi electronics), Jo Berger Myhre (doublebass/zither/tone generator) and Andreas Lønmo Knudsrød (drums/percussion/sounds), playing their own music inspired by any number of musical genres. The band was initiated in 2003, and sweet music was created instantly.
Since then, the band released two highly acclaimed records - Doors. Keys. (AIM 2007) and Arbor (Hubro 2009) - played a great number of concerts in Europe, and collaborated with several interesting musicians on both concerts and their records.
Splashgirl is recording their third album in September 2010, aiming for a release in spring 2011.
